S T U D I O  D I A R Y  F E B R U A R Y  1 5 : T H

This was the first day we actually recorded something we could use. Hopefully. Mick arrived to semi famous studio Vork&Arknöl studios on february 5:th with his drums, but it took the whole day assemble his drums. No studio work on the day after, since we had to rehearse than. We still aren't sure about how to play almost half of the songs we are going to record, so we have some extensive rehearsal work to do parallell with the recordings. Next day was february 8:th, when our producer Torkel and Mick tried to get a proper sound out of the drums, in to the mixing console. No recordings that day either. The first actual recording session started on february 10:th, but after 8 hours of work neither Mick or Torkel had any energy left, and unfortunatly takes they could use either. But yesterday we managed to do proper drum takes for a song called "Stranger in the dark" and probably one more song. This statement might need some explanation; When Mick had done a good take on "Stranger...", we had all pretty fresh ears. But when he was finished with the next song, everyone was really tired, and don't able to judge if it was useful or not. Typical studio dilemma. Anyway, Torkel is supposed to do a rough mix of those two drum tracks this week, so I guess we'll know and the end of the week.

E X T R A  H O T ! And so a special future for today. A 40 second video clip from when Mick plays some of the solo parts in "Stranger in the dark". The clip is 7.2 MB big and in MPEG1-format. Mick play drums

Frontview of the drumkit Mick will be using for this recordings

Mick's belowed drum chair, covered with true fake leopard skin. Criss call this chair something which isn't suited for a serious homepage. A gentle translation would be "The XXX couch"

From the drummer's view. Maybe a little skew, but I guess that explain some things about drummers?

Lieing on the second floor tom you'll see the ear plugs which Mick attach to his ears, using adhesive tape, so they wont fall of.
