    Our friend Gerard from the excellent french heavy metal band Heavy And Loud have created a VII Gates winamp skin. You can find it free for download on the Sounds/video section.

    The album have been licensed in Russia/ex-USSR (our appologiez using that name, but it's definitly the easiest way to describe the concerned countries). Have added links to some online stores who sell the album here!

August 9:th

July 17:th:
    Long time, no update! Have had a little vacation to recharge our batteries, but now we are working with full force again! What have happened since the last update?
    Criss Blackburn have been to Spain, singing with excellent spanish heavy metal band Sandalinas. We might suppose that he had a great time, judging by the pictures we have seen. Criss says so too, but in this case the pictures are still more reliabel. Check them out, and you will now why! (Sandalinas have had some troubles with their web server, please try again if it don't work right now).
    Mick and Criss did a radio interview for norweigan/american webzine Metalexpress, done by Dan Skiba. Go to this page, and click on "VII Gates June'04". Watch out for the accent!!
    The album is now avaible from webshops in more than 20 countries. Here is the list with the shops we've found so far. If you still are having problems getting it for some reason, just send a mail, and we will solve it in some way.
    Added several more reviews on the reviews-page (as usual...). Noticed that the Italian webzines don't give us as high grades as most others. Any Italian, please tell us why?!?! We like Italy very much!

    The album is now avaible in North-and South America through Century Media Records.
    Also added several new reviews, as well as a long interview from Morrigans Pit.

   For people with slower internet connections, the low resolution version of the promo video for The saviour is now avaible on the "Sounds/video"-section. (Of course it's avaible for people with fast internet connections too, but I strongly recommend you to download the biggest file! Better quality you know...).

   The release date for the album in Sweden will be April 22:nd, through Sound Pollution.

Mars 17:th
   We are out of stock for our CD:s for the moment, but we will get new copies in the middle of April. There will also soon be published a list containing online-stores which sells the album.
    Two gigs in the neighbourhood of Halmstad are also settled, Rockstugan April 3:rd and Gullbrannagården April 30:th (for the third time!). More info will be added soon.
    The links section is also updated, both bands and zines. Please have a look!

   We've just finished the editing process of a promotion video for "The Saviour". You can download it on the sound section. Please add your comments in the guestbook!

   Updated the reviews section for "Fire, walk with me" with all the reviews we have got so far. Click here to read them! Most of them are in german, which we don't understand everything of... So, if someone could help us translate them to swedish or english, we would be very grateful, and send that person a copy of the album for free. Mail me if you are intrested.
    I also found an intresting comment on www.metalstorm.ee; "a friend of mine saw the cover art, and when he ried to read the logo he said.. THIS BAND IS NAMED BILL GATES??".
    There are also new email adresses for everyone. See the contact section and please update your adress books! There might still be sections where I haven't updated the adresses, please mail me if you find any!

Januari 1:st
    Happy new year everyone!!! Our album is finally finished, and can now be ordered! Just send us a mail! For those who prefer the local store; The album will (so far) be distributed by: Twilight in Germany/Austria/Switzerland, Rock Inc in Benelux, VME in Norway, CD-Maximum in Russia/Baltic States, Firebox in Finland, Sound Pollution in Sweden, Pro-Sonic in UK, Soundholic, Disk Heaven, THA & World Chaois in Japan, Goimusic in Spain, PHD in Canada, Cosmic Storm in Greece, The Art in Mexico, Metal Age in Slovakia/Czech Republic, Rocris Disc in Romania, Rock Express in ex-Yugoslavia and Trinity in Hong-Kong. More countries will probably be added as the months of this new year passes by...

November 27:th
   I have been without a internet connection for some weeks now, so I haven't been able to update the site for a while. First of all, now you can listen to sound samples from the album on the sound section. Second I would like to tell, that we might not be the luckiest band in the world... After months of things not working, we finally had the mixings done. Sent it to Digital Audio in England for the mastering-process, by express-snail-mail. It took _TWO_ weeks for the CD to arrive to England. Mastering went fine. Sent the disc to the press factory. Got a mail today that there have been something wrong with the glass-master-disc. Still waiting for further news about that... However, no big suprise that the album will be even more delayed! But I promise it will be worth waiting for!  

October 17:th
   Just a few days, and the mixing will be finished! We also think it's time to reveal who the guys which helped us a little with the guitar on the album. They are no less than Kee Marcello, Tommy Denander, Chris Amott and Janne Stark. On the discography section, you will also find a preview of the album cover.

October 14:th
   VII Gates will play at Diezel november 15:th, together with Last Tribe. We would also like to annonce that Moe A:son is no longer a member of VII Gates. The new bass player is Nick Poza. VII Gates would like to thank Moe for his time in the band (we had a great time!), and wish him good luck in the future! And of course, we also would like to say a big "welcome!" to Nick.

October 5:th
   Our time in the studio soon seems to have come to it's end. If nothing unexpected happens, the mixing will be finished until next friday (october 10:th). Then it will be sent to England, for the mastering-process. So keep your fingers crossed! We will also start to sell t-shirts (and probably more things like badges, pins, caps, scarfs and all the classic things). Please email us if you are intrested! More info about this will come soon... We can also promise more very intresting news to come soon!

September 16:th
   The mixing process are even more delayed... Anyway, one of our still secret guest artists was in the studio this sunday, and did a solo. Great stuff! Also, for those of you who understand swedish, a local paper did an interview with us recently. Check it out here!

   Ok, have been a little lazy with updating now... Hopefully we'll be better at it this autumn! Anyway, we have decided what the title of the forthcoming album will be; "Fire, walk with me". Please mail your comments! More info about the album will be added here. We are also glad to announce that we will have some very nice guest-guitarists on the album. But we will keep the names to ourself a little longer, so there wont be any missunderstandings. Be aware...

August 11:th
   Due circumstances we can't affect about the studio, the album probably wont be out before somewhere in september. But there are some good news as well! Apollo (Time Requim, ex-Majestic) and Stefan Ingelstrand (Time Requim, Meduza) have help us with the backup-vocals, which definitly gave some extra power to the songs! We are very grateful about that.

   After a lot of discussions (in the band, as well as with the guys at Sound Riot), we have finally decided the title for our first album. Visit soon again, and you will know...
