"When gates are opening" was the first demo we ever recorded. It was recorded spring 2000, during some hectic days. It's not a lie to say that we wheren't very well prepared. You could divide the members into two groups. Those who had never recorded in a real studio before, and those who hadn't recorded in at least the nearest 10 years. However, Criss made some wonders by provide the band and the producer with unlimited amounts of snacks, so we where pretty happy after all.

The demo got mixed reviews from the media, but sold pretty good, about 250 copies locally. Well, I guess that's ok for a demo, but of course we've heard of bands who sold many times more than that.

We where also contacted by a German record company, who wanted more material. Changing to the overdrive gear, it just took us about half a year before we started to record the next demo. Se "A dark room of my mind"...

Reviews of this demo can be found here.

By the way, if anybody wonders, "Söderberg" is our ex-webmaster, and a friend of mine. He still writes a lot of good stuff. If there are bands out there which have a more "progressive" sound than us, and needs more material, it's definitly worth to take the chance to contact him. He is a good bassplayer as well.
